- Cassirer Anecdote Booklet 18 October 1937 -Original in German; Translation into English. This booklet, in German, edited by Toni Cassirer, was produced for the occasion of Max Cassirer 's 80th birthday. It contains many amusing anecdotes and is the most detailed original account of the lives of the Cassirers in the late 19th and early 20th century.
- Cassirer page: Berlin Jewish Address Book 1931. This is a page of the Berlin Jewish Address Book in 1931 showing the addresses of a number of members of the Cassirer family at that time in Berlin.
- Cassirer Group Photographs. Various group photographs taken at weddings and other Cassirer occasions between 1900 and 1937, some of whom are identified and some of whom remain to be identified. Your assistance in identifications would be appreciated. Also begging for identification is this picture of a Cassirer residence in Breslau.
- Album of miscellaneous additional information on the Cassirer and Falk families. There is quite a bit of information which is progressively uncovered about the Cassirer and Falk families. There is more diverse detail on everything from paintings owned by Paul Cassirer, to the . Some of it is information provided by researchers such as Adalbert Saurma who have provided translation and research for this site. This album is the place where this information was initially progressively collected. It is no cross-referenced into the Families and Individual pages in this Document Collection.
- Papers of the Cassirer-Tietz Family, 1879-1983. In February 2014 the Leo Baeck Institute placed in digitised form its records of the papers of the Cassirer-Tietz Family. This replicates a number of documents already on this site but also contains a wealth of additional documentation, including attempts at preparing a family genealogy. [Interestingly the genealogy supports very recent evidence, and the genealogy first published by Harry Nutt in his book "Bruno Cassirer" that the mother of Markus Cassirer was Eva Fischer. This now appears to be correct and should replace prior assignments of his mother as Pesel bat Salomon Friedländer. This arises from the fact that there were two Moses Cassirers (quite probably first cousins) living in close proximity (see elsewhere in this site).] The documents are housed at the Center for Jewish History, 15 West 16th Street New York, N.Y. 10011, http://www.lbi.org.
Descendant Albums
Albums of documents and photos have been created relating to the following Cassirer ancestors:
- Eduard Cassirer Descendants - album including related photographs, messages, references, menus, obituaries and celebratory poems 1885-1939.
- Ernst Cassirer including reflections by his grandson, Peter Cassirer.
- Irene Sychrava - album including photos, postcards and menus.
- Isidor Cassirer Descendants including:
- Isidor Cassirer and Lydia Cassirer - document set, including telegram from von Hindenberg, Honour Cross certificate presented to Lydia, marriage certificate, and ironically Honour Cross in the name of Hitler to Rudolph Cassirer
- Album of documents from Ernest Cassirer including Mourning Book and war records of their son Rudolph Cassirer.
- Additional album of documents from Ernest Cassirer relating to Lydia Cassirer, Rudolph Cassirer (including a letter from Albert Einstein to Rudolph Cassirer, about the status of Refugees in which Einstein says that he had written to President Roosevelt, and suggests that anyone who had influential contacts urge them to also do what they could). Included also are the Nazi certificates of good conduct and lift of restraint required for Johanna Baron nee Cassirer to leave Germany.
- Album of Cassirer Photographs and Anecdotes ~1890-2005 from the late Miriam Cassirer Laparne.
- Julie Cassirer married Otto Bondy (owner of the Cable Factory in Vienna). Their children Toni Bondy married Ernst Cassirer, whilst Walter Bondy, a well known painter, became part of the Berlin Secession. Daughter Martha Bondy married Oskar Pollak (sadly both victims of the Shoah). This is an album of documents associated with this line.
- Julius Cassirer Descendants - including an album of documents on Bruno Cassirer by Regina Pfennig. The story of Julius's son Fritz (Friedrich Leopold Cassirer) and their descendants is part captured here - in The stolen Pissaro painting Saga - which recounts the saga of the struggle by Claude Cassirer for return of a painting stolen by the Nazis from Friedrich's wife Lilly Dispecker. The struggle continues through Claude's son David Cassirer.
- Martin Cassirer Descendants - including
- A moving account of the life of SusanneBano, and her grandmother Lucie Lasker, who lost her life in Auschwitz: by Susanne's son, Ben Bano.
- The Lucy Lasker and Willi Bodlaender album. The last year of Lucie Lasker was intimately tied to the fate of a friend Willi Bodlaender, who whilst not a Cassirer shared with her, via a postcard, their last communications before their murder by the Nazis. This album contains material honouring both of them and their living relatives.
- Salomon Cassirer Descendants - with an album including the Marriage Certificate of Käthe Cassirer and Dr. Paul Herrmann.
- Louis Cassirer Descendants - including an interview with Reinhold Cassirer
- Photos of Paul Cassirer - from funeral, Berlin Secession, and gallery.
- Schiffer family documents. Since Emilie Schiffer married Louis Cassirer, and Rosalie Cassirer's daughter Margarethe Goldstein married Georg Schiffer, this family had a strong and early connection with the Cassirers. Sadly includes records of Else Schiffer (nee Knopf) victim of the Shoah (Holocaust).
- Other Cassirer Descendants. The above are the descendants of Markus Cassirer. This section is devoted to those identified amongst the many other descendants, including the brothers and sisters of Markus Cassirer and a generation further back, from the children of Loebel Moses Cassirer (1738-1809).

Speculations and Queries
Material in this section is particularly speculative, drawing as it does on secondary material (often found by web-search) and with suggestive but far from conclusive connections suggested. Please exercise care in utilising these observations noting that they are speculative if you ever cite them. If you have information that would improve our knowledge, as always, this will be very welcome.
- References to Cassirers who may be related appearing in the historical record who may or may not be connected to this family tree. Any help you can give in establishing such connections would be appreciated. Included are those of these who were victims of the Holocaust
- See also some old Cassirer family group photographs. Help with identifying these ancestors would be greatly appreciated.
- There is also a lively "living" discussion of the early development of the Cassirer family before and after the name "Cassirer" was coined, and the factors in their social and economic environment which caused them to develop as they did.
For more on individuals and families, and their genealogy, see Family Tree Index.
