This Mark Xa is believed to have originated from the Gramophone exchange in Edinburgh, with a gold horn then sold at auction 2014 or 2013 then purchased by Paul Ritchens in April-May 2016. The horn had been repainted dark brown . Paul Ritchen then restored the cabinet. The horn will be restored and re papered later.

“XII” is written on both deck boards with an arrow and stamped on the carcass . It is solid oak in the unusual smaller cabinet with sloping cut in the lid . It has a 4 spring sound box .
