I now believe that Elizabeth was married to Coleman Zadok/c spelling not definite with the permission of Mrs Sarah Cohen at the ?Great Synagogue. The place to be queried.
The marriage of Elizabeth Solomon and Coleman Zadak/ or Zadoc, in 1840 are in the notes for his wife Elizabeth.
The confirmation that this is the correct husband of Elizabeth is found in the details of the Old Cemetery at Rookwood where they share a double plot. The headstone reads 'Sacred to the memory of Coleman Zadoc who departed this life September 8th AM 5612, aged 45 years.' The transcription of the Hebrew is 'here lied Kalunmas son of Nathaniel. Died Monday 24 Elul 5612 and buried on Thursday 27 Elul 5612 at the age of 45'. The date of interment is taken from the York Street Synagogue Burial Register.
