At her birth she was registered as Jane Ethel. Reg no 28. It is possible that she was the Jane Cohen who married Antonio Rivas in Gulgong in 1900. There is also a marriage in QLD - an Ethel Cohen married on 7 October 1915 a William Henry Timmins, reg no 15/born 017519. She would have been about 35 years old at that time.
