Nathaniel Louis Marienthal, known as Harry married Sydney in 1876 aSon Harold Sydney was born in Sydney at "Shannokee House" 268 BourkeStreet, East Sydney on the 12th June 1879, the family moved toBrisbane Queensland where Harry was employed at Hoffnungs as aCommercial Traveller later becoming Manager. He resigned fromHoffnungs at the end of April 1897, and he was presented with ahandsome office desk as a farewell gift. He died three years later inBrisbane and was buried at Toowong Cemetery. During the stay inBrisbane three more children were born two girls and a boy.

It is thought that after Harry's death the family moved to England. Itis recorded that Lily left for England at the age of 21 years on the3rd August 1912, wether the others preceaded her it is not known.Fanny Marienthal died in London at The Palace Court Hotel on the 2ndMarch 1937.
