The Personal Notices of the Maitland Mercury of 5 March 1856 announces marriage of Solomon Cohen to Julia Hannah Cohen, third daughter late Joel J Cohen, George Street, Sydney at residence of L W Levy, West Maitland on 27 Feb 1856 by Rev Isaacs.

At the registration of the birth of her daughter Charlotte (1873) it was stated that previous issue was 5 male, 3 females living, 1 female deceased. Julia's age was given as 34.
