A connection to Vera Cassirer, and Ernst Cassirer’s furniture

| Annette Atsmon writes: “There is another dimension to this card. In 1943 we fled to Sweden, we came to Goeteborg, my mother must have gotten in touch with Vera Cassirer, and we were given the very elegant furniture of Ernst Cassirer, which was stored there. We had a little one room flat with a big kitchen, where my mother sewed. In the room we had a big dinning table and chairs, very elegant deep blue drapes, in the kitchen a white table, all from the Cassirers. When we left, we returned it. It served us very well.”
