He writes "After hearing Raymond's EMG, I requested (pleaded, actually) that he find one for me and he DID about a year and a half later! Will and I have searched in vain for a serial number on this machine. I do remember Raymond informing me that "the machine was found in a London banker's home where it had been in the same spot since 1930." I believe that it came as part of a recordings purchase that Raymond had made for his 78rpm record mail-order business. This machine had a 4 month journey to the USA aboard a freighter! I continue to marvel at how wonderful this machine sounds!"
