Words are failing us all as we hear of the terrible loss of dear Sue. The news has been met with absolute disbelief and sorrow.

Sue was such a giver to others, so capable, reassuring and dynamic that it is hard to believe she is no longer with us.

Her impact on thousands of people in this country in all aspects of the arts but especially craft, design, feminism and socially active art cannot be counted.

And Sue was such a wonderful person, always smiling, patient, allowing us to grow and flourish, and we knew deep down she was also very strong and always thinking of how she could make a better space for people to work and be themselves, think and grow.

She was also a very beautiful person both inside and out.
