My great-aunt, Eva, married a Phillips of some sort and was also widowed early. When I knew her she was an octogenarian widow living alone at the De Vere Hatel and spending her winters in the South of France. She had two sons, one of whom emigrated to Israel. The other had a very pleasant but rather plain daughter whom I used to know in my youth.
