Notes for Dudley Clive BRAHAM
His wife Olga was married to Len Nettlefold who predeceased her. I don't know what her maiden name was.
I have taken the year of Dudley's birth from the Cranbrook magazine which stated that he was aged 95 at the time of his death. He attended Cranbrook from 1923 - 1929. PAC tells that he was in the bed next to Dudley at school and also that he had a brother Harold.
I believe I have now found who his father was from Dudley's service record which shows that he was born in Perth on 21 April 1910, enlisted in Adelaide on 3 November 1939 at Keswick Barracks and that his next of kin was Douglas Braham. He attained the rank of Major and was discharged on 13 November 1945.
It is possible that the Harry George Braham that I also found in the Service Records of WW2 veterans was the brother. His date of birth was 'unknown', but the place was Geelong. He enlisted at Paddington, Sydney in May 1941 and at the time he was living in Rose Bay. His next of kin was Gloria Braham. He attained the rank of Warrant Officer, class 2. I have now found that his father was Alfred simon Braham so not a match.
