They were the owners of the Victoria Hotel at Geelong, and Myer haddied at the Hotel. Following his death Sophia and daughter ran andmanager the hotel until around the end of January 1916, when shedecided to give up the Hotel, and at the time a presentation was madeto her and her daughter. To Sophie ahandsome silver rose bowl, and toher daughter a travelling clock.
